Avaliação dos aplicativos móveis disponíveis para auxiliar na prescrição e uso de medicamentos

Resumo

Os aplicativos voltados para a saúde têm potencial para auxiliar profissionais, estudantes e pacientes no acesso a informações sobre medicamentos, promovendo suporte educacional. Este estudo tem por objetivo avaliar aplicativos móveis gratuitos disponíveis nas plataformas Android e iOS, na área de Farmacologia e Terapêutica medicamentosa. Trata-se de um estudo por meio de pesquisa quantitativa e qualitativa de caráter descritivo. Foram selecionados 19 aplicativos que atenderam aos critérios de inclusão. As informações reunidas incluíram: ano de lançamento; data da última atualização; tipo de acesso (gratuito ou pago); idioma; funcionalidades interativas; avaliação dos usuários; presença de referências bibliográficas entre outros. Os resultados revelaram que apenas 26,1% apresentavam referências bibliográficas, enquanto menos da metade oferecia funcionalidades interativas como calculadoras de dose ou alarmes de horário da medicação. Apenas cinco aplicativos oferecem informações em português. Observou-se predominância de conteúdo voltado principalmente às áreas da Farmacologia clínica, Farmacodinâmica e Farmacocinética. Aplicativos como Medscape e Drugs.com se destacaram pela robustez do conteúdo e atualização. O ProDoctor e Fácil Bula, mostraram maior acessibilidade, mas com menor densidade técnica. Conclui-se que, apesar do potencial dos aplicativos móveis como apoio à prática clínica e ao ensino, ainda persistem limitações significativas em relação à confiabilidade e à aplicabilidade dos conteúdos. Nesse sentido, torna-se essencial o desenvolvimento de ferramentas mais completas, atualizadas, visando garantir o uso seguro dessas tecnologias no contexto brasileiro.
